Hello to all our friends and guests!
We are excited to share our revived website with all our friends, former and future guests. We invite you to take a few moments and browse our new website. It's hard to believe that it has been six years since we officially opened The Country Inn at High View. We have a lot of changes to share with you and hope you will enjoy them.
Our photos are now six years later, so you will be able to see a remarkable change not only in the inn's interior and exterior, but of Gail and Grant. Life does go on and we are very proud of the progress we've made with the inn. The inn is now open 7 days a week and our rate structure has changed. We offer midweek rates along with the weekend rates for in season and off season. In addition, we now have online reservation, so you can book immediately when you decide our inn is your choice.
Through the past six years, we have met so many wonderful folks from all over the USA, Canada and Europe. They have become like family, and we are always happy when they pay us a return visit. We want to take this opportunity to thank each one of you for choosing our inn for your getaway. It has been a pleasure to meet each of you and we look forward to your next visit.

Our guest rooms are decorated with queen beds and have comfortable
Spring Air mattresses and Sateen linens for a peaceful night.
Matching Amish handcrafted furniture compliment the beds and
coordinating colors. The bathrooms have been wallpapered with bright
colors that bring out a bright and cheery atmosphere. Each room has
its own bath complete with all the amenities needed for a wonderful
getaway.
Entering The Country Inn at High View you walk into a beautifully decorated room that welcomes our guests. Country wallpaper with a border of houses, shops and period costumes take you back to long ago. The room's chair railing and trim have been painted with a dark gray paint that brings out the colors in the wallpaper. Our office is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to welcome you when checking in and offering assistance with restaurant selection and reservations along with tourist attractions.
Breakfast is served in a lovely sun porch that overlooks the pool
and pool area. The room is decorated in bright colors of green,
yellow and blue with terra cotta floor tile. Tables are set to
match the brightness of the room with dishes that are coordinated
with colorful linens and seasonal decorations. Coffee is served at
7:30 a.m. with breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The inn's kitchen is beautifully equipped with a Kenmore 6 burner
gas range, convection oven and griddle. The refrigerator and
freezer are Sub-Zero appliances that are commercially designed. An
ice maker is available for use and coffee, tea, and water are
offered at all times. All breakfast items are made from scratch and
prepared on a daily basis.
The inn has several sitting rooms along with a screened porch and
front porch. The screened porch overlooks the pool and pool area
and the front porch has a beautiful view of the mountains, woods and
open meadow where the deer graze early morning and evening. In
addition, there is a beautiful guest family room with a wood burning
fireplace, TV and current magazines.
A lovely living room can be
used for those tea drinkers and quiet time. The upstairs has a
magnificent loft that overlooks the mountains and meadow. Books,
games, jigsaw puzzles and magazines are available for entertainment.
