"Sleigh" Room

You truly feel like you're in the country when you walk into the "Sleigh" room. What a colorful room and oh the view! Looking out the front windows, you see the beautiful mountains and all the colors of the seasons. Summer brings the beautiful green leaves, autumn brings the magnificent hues of the oranges, browns and reds, and winter brings the snow covered trees and mountains. Then, we are excited at spring's arrival bringing to full bloom the leaves and flowering trees.

Enjoy the Pennsylvania handcrafted furniture with the light cherry stain. The sleigh bed is absolutely beautiful with the Amish handmade patchwork quilt. Of course, the curtains and pillows match all the bright colors in the quilt. The colors are striking with the reds, blues, greens, burgundy and blacks. What fun you will have watching the fire in the fireplace burn! Just think how cozy and warm those winter evenings will be with a cup of steaming hot chocolate or a glass of wine curled up with your favorite author.

The bathroom is so quaint with the red and cream wallpaper displaying the tiny little country flowers. Then the wallpaper borders with the old-time outside toilets make it feel even more country. You won't want to leave this lovely room and its country flavor. So, relax and enjoy our "Sleigh" room until the next time. We look forward to your return visit to our little country inn.
